The Stanley Tumbler
The Stanley Tumbler is a clear internet favorite. From TikTok to Instagram and beyond they seem to be everywhere. The 40-ounce tumbler, which has been nicknamed “the Quencher” or “the cup” by its loyal fanbase, often sells out quickly. It regularly sells out within hours, if not minutes, of restocks and at one point at one point had a waitlist of 150,000 people. Why we love the Stanley Tumbler
It takes a lot for us to put down our Georgia Bulldogs tumblers but since we’ve been using the Stanley Tumbler the UGA water bottle has been sidelined. The following features of the Stanley Tumbler have brought it up to first string water bottle level.
The Handle – The handle on the Stanley Tumbler makes it much easier to hold onto while your hands are full. No more tucking the water bottle under your arm only to have it slip out and come crashing to the ground. The handle is also ergonomic with comfort-grip inserts.
The Base – The tumbler is perfectly designed to be smaller at the bottom to fit in a car cupholder.
The Lid – It has a FlowState Lid, which has a silicone seal around its straw base that is designed to help prevent spills. The rotating top’s design includes three positions so you can sip from the wide-mouth opening, use the accompanying straw or close it up when you’re not drinking.
The Insulation – Thanks to Stanley’s vacuum insulation, your water will stay ice-cold, hour after hour. It will keep hot beverages warm for 7 hours, cold beverages chilled for 11 hours and ice frozen for 2 days. The tumbler is made of stainless steel, so it won’t sweat like other cups. It’s also double walled and has a rubber gasket between the walls to prevent condensation from forming on your cup.
